P90X – Day 0

Today is P90X Day 0, and it’s only fair that I “let it all hang out” so you can see the good, the bad, and the… well, you know.

I suppose I’ll be more comfortable with this shot being posted on my blog as it begins to look less and less like me.

The good news: I’m weighing in at about 180 pounds, which is 22 pounds lighter than I was about three months ago. Now it’s time to take it to the next level! Today I’m weighting for my “little box of pain” to arrive. I’m hoping my P90X package arrives tomorrow so I can jump right into it Tuesday night. For now I’m not pretty and I have the trademark farmer’s tan, the scarlet letter for guys who aren’t comfortable taking their shirts off on sunny days!

Here are my stats and body measurements on P90X Day 0:

  1. Weight: 180 pounds
  2. Body Fat: ~21 % (using electronic bathroom scale; need a body fat tester)
  3. Upper Arm: 12.125 in. (measured between the shoulder and elbow with your arm at your side)
  4. Abdomen: 41.75 in. (measured at the level of your belly button)
  5. Waist: 36.00 in. (measured at the narrowest point above your belly button, but below your breast bone (sternum)
  6. Thigh: 22.75 in. (measured at the maximal girth of the thigh)

      I’m hoping my “little box of pain” arrives today so I can start the burn tonight! I’m also waiting on my chin-up bar. I suppose I’ll get what I want; let’s see if I’ll want what I’m gonna get!
